A special photographic series for the Mother's Day
Every year, the traditional Mother's and Father's Days reminds us to what extent this natural, physical and emotional bond is one of the pillars of the construction and development of the individuals that we are. How many artists, singers, painters, writers, sculptors and photographers have been inspired by this unfailing love of a parent for her little ones? From Alain Souchon to Louise Bourgeois, from Albert Cohen to Auguste Renoir, from Grand Corps Malade to Alexandre Jardin, they have all at one time expressed with their voices, their words and their feelings this intimate filial bond which unites us for life.
Laurent Baheux's images of animal life pay tribute in particular to this bond which is expressed so intensely in animals in their natural environment. Protection, learning and tenderness are just as precious and present beyond our species and our civilizations.
Nice visit!
